"Do I have to suffer?" Zoremet's voice was dry and cracked as he asked the question. "I want to just lie here and nap instead." His head was swimming, his limbs were heavy, and he was vaguely nauseous, but he was at least mostly numb. Something was wrong with his left hand, it ached in a way that felt distant and foggy, much like most of his left side and his chest and his neck, but this felt more wrong. He lifted his left hand for a moment, gently trembling as he brought it into view and stared. Something didn't look right at all. He brought up his right hand to look, but suddenly a girl was there holding it like some sort of majestic glowing angel with dark hair.
He squinted up at her and realized it was only Zelly. "Oh hi, Zelly... lemme see your hand?" He blinked as she held it up, then turned to look at his heavily bandaged left and blinked again. "What happened to my finger?" There was a faint tickle in the back of his mind as if he really should know, or had already asked. He set his hand down to carefully rest on his belly and grimaced at the pulls and aches he was starting to feel with the movement. He flopped his head to the side to look at Gail but winced again at the pulling in his neck. "Ow..."
"Ah, you're awake. And you are lucky that your brother and your friend here helped you off the floor before I got here. Stop hindering your recovery." Zory flinched at the voice, eyes shutting as he listened to the heavy footsteps of the healer. "Now then, what exactly is in that jar? I don't want to know what you think it will do or what you think it's for, I just want to know the ingredients." Zoremet almost fell back asleep as he listened to Zelly just rattle off a list of ingredients, though he managed to win the struggle to stay awake for the moment.
Much to his surprise the healer didn't yell or shout when she was done. "That seems fine then. It shouldn't hurt at the very least and anything he can keep down would be worthwhile though..." Zory cracked an eye open as he heard the sound of the wooden bucket scraping briefly on the floor and saw the healer peek into it with a frown. "Wait to try it until tomorrow, maybe the day after. Now if you'll just stay out of the way for a moment, I've got some more medication to administer."
Zory didn't see what the healer gave Gail, instead just quietly dreading until it was his turn. Then the man was suddenly staring down at him with stern cold blue eyes and a frown and Zory couldn't help but try and cringe away as the man reached down for him... and then very gently touched the side of his neck. "Oh good, this one seems to be healing much better, though there is some irritation where the skin is pulling here. One moment." The healer rambled on a bit more, applying numbweed as Zory let out a sigh of relief and started to relax. He was just glad the healer wasn't yelling.
After the healer was finally gone, Zory carefully turned his head to try and look at Gail. "Gail... are you okay?" At least his voice was sounding a little better than when he'd first tried saying anything. He was going to ask where Pit was, but realized that at some point she'd wound up back with Nari who was taking care of her. That was fine, he wanted her to get better too.
