Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Back in Benden! His last (and first) trip had been a few weeks earlier and only for a handful of days so he could assist Rhamnus. Ulliendis still wasn't entirely clear why the Healer had called for him as it didn't seem quite the entire truth when he said he liked teaching someone about his work and using the former Harper's unique skills. It had been fun, whatever the motivation was at the time. He'd been back in Benden for almost a week and ran into Rhamnus a couple of times but the Healer seemed busy and Ulliendis was doing his best to be a good little Candidate while further exploring the Weyr.
He looked around the group of Candidates he had been assigned to and spotted some familiar faces from the previous Hatchings at Fort. It had been nice meeting up with some friends again the past week and he saw that as one of the definite perks to traveling around for Hatchings. He looked forward to exchanging stories with them afterward; assuming everyone had a decent time. He'd been lucky so far but he also heard the horror stories of some reactions. He was extremely curious about Casa and Thallyath with their disaster clutch. If he didn't Impress at Benden, he'd definitely head down to Ista for theirs.
For now, it was time to focus on the clutch before him and Ulliendis grinned widely as he approached the eggs. He broke off from the little clump of men he'd inadvertently been following and stepped up to the first egg he came across. He wasn't superstitious and didn't have any plans for what to Touch or how many and laid his palm on the warm shell.
