Zeianth had dropped him off in the Lower Bowl before taking off to visit with friends. They didn’t stop into Telgar Weyr regularly so when they did, it was a treat for the dragon and he made the most of it. That, however, left D’hys to wander the halls like a mundane weyrfolk. At least he enjoyed the exercise it brought about with having to hike around so many tunnels and stairs, especially when he had multiple stops planned.
That day was no different as he moved from one weyr to the next, mostly on official business for R’nya as he sought out information for the murders and attacks through his own methods. So far, most of his contacts knew about as much as anyone else; nothing. There were rumours but one greenrider had a lead that interested D’hys enough to track it down himself before moving on to his next stop later that afternoon.
He was hurrying through the hall, for once more caught up in his thoughts than his surroundings and collided with something. Or someone, it seemed as that person bounced off of him and curled in on themselves on the ground. His stride broke long enough to do a double take at the person as he thought he had knocked over the pregnant goldrider but another few seconds showed it was her useless brother. Pitiful.
D’hys didn’t bother stopping as he had more pressing things to do than to coddle some holder boy that only seemed good at crying and having panic attacks.
