She does look so lovely up in the sky. Tiberuth kept to the ground as he watched the gold take her lap about the sky over the campsite. What, you're not going to try and show off too? K'dar asked as he grabbed his fishing pole and made his way to the creek they'd camped by. No, if I'm going to show off I want more time to make it worthwhile. Perhaps after we've gotten home. K'dar cast out into the water and stifled a small chuckle. I'm surprised you're still interested after she tagged you. She seems to have forgotten she was upset with me and that suits me fine. Just make sure you don't ruin the next time I give chase.
K'dar rolled his eyes, turning his attention back to his fishing. They'd brought supplies and enough food to last them, but if he could catch enough for dinner then that was just more food they could save for later, or more smoked fish for him to snack on or bring back to friends. He glanced over to where Cazan was settling down with T'ryn and realized the goldrider was moving a bit gingerly. Hopefully she and the baby were fine.
After he'd managed to catch a few fish (such a good fishing spot, he would have to remember to come back later), K'dar made his way to go check on the pair. "Hey, everything okay? Will we be going for the same distance tomorrow or..." his voice faded as Cazan shot him a withering glare. "You know I think the next camping spot is actually closer than this one was."
Tiberuth tilted his head curiously, shorter flights between stops would mean a longer trip, but that was more opportunity to try and make sure he was properly on Malvayth's good side. He waited until she'd settled down after her flight and was happily babbling before he curled up near enough that he could brush a tail against her. You handled the trip really well. Such a fantastic flyer. A bit of flattery couldn't hurt.
