Narinoa was torn on if he should Stand or not. It was a smaller clutch so one less Candidate wouldn’t be remarked upon, especially when he had been tending to Erebuth. But the blue was still his sweet self and encouraged him to still go through with the Touching and Hatching. Narinoa knew L’gan would also call for him if something was urgent enough and he trusted the healer and respected his skills enough to leave their patient in his care. It still felt selfish and he had yet to admit to anyone his indecision about dropping out of candidacy altogether. Perhaps it was time to focus solely on studying what they knew of dragon healing and assisting with further research. Then again, what if having his own dragon assisted him in learning more through their bond?
It was something he would reflect on further if he didn’t Impress at this Hatching. Being such a small clutch, the chances were pretty slim anyway and maybe he would discuss it with L’gan. For now, Narinoa smiled at the gold pair while Pipsqueak was told to keep Erebuth company so everyone was happy. He spotted the egg he wanted to go to first and almost chuckled at how superstitious he was becoming with this nonsense. Why was he so intent on that specific egg just because it caught his eye first? It looked almost identical to the others and was laid out in the same manner but there he was, walking directly for it and laying his hand on it a moment later.
Egg 3, please.
