Zelly had her own hat, gloves, and scarf drying by the fire as she relished in the toasty warmth of the barn and her beverage. She grinned up at her brother, amused by how it seemed like the cold had finally started to sink in. "It's fun enough that you don't realize how cold you are. But it makes you appreciate being warm at least."
She leaned in to give her brother a gentle bump with her shoulder. "Maybe the tavern will have some soup if you wanted some now. But I have some soup ready to heat up when we get back to the Weyr if you're patient." If he wasn't patient enough that was fine, it just meant there was more for her and A'tay and whichever friends or siblings he wanted to invite.
"And yes! Sculptures! Last time A'tay and I made chess pieces, but you can make people or dragons, or whatever you want if you're good enough. And I didn't start it, I just knew it was going to start so I decided to be prepared." Zelly stuck her tongue out at him. "Besides, you had fun and got your revenge. Maybe we can make a ship out of snow. Or maybe some snow fish."
After a few more sips of her hot cocoa she turned to A'tay, giving him a grin and a wink as she added, "You'll have to help me make sure I don't accidentally sculpt any embarrassing chess pieces again."
