It had taken an extra bit of encouragement to get Zoremet up early enough to finish his breakfast and wake up and be excited about the touching. He wasn't sure he could remember the last time he'd Stood for a clutch, though he could remember why he'd taken a break. He hadn't been involved in that touching and it still had him spooked! but this was a normal gold and bronze clutch, no blue weirdness, and both golds looked pleased. He'd heard the smaller clutch had been sired by a brown, and while Zory hadn't been sure about that one seeing how proud and pleased the mother was did help set his mind at ease a bit. If he didn't impress this time, maybe he would still go Stand for the the other clutch too.
With his slightly nervous greetings given, Zoremet looked over the sea of eggs as he tried to decide which one to pick. There were just so many and it was easy to get overwhelmed. He almost wished he had Pit around to help him choose, but she was being safely distracted by R'dal for the moment to keep her from upsetting anyone. So that left him on his own. He supposed the best thing to do then was to just wander around until he felt the right moment. He strolled through the eggs, careful to avoid bumping into anyone else until he thought he felt. He took a look around, saw an egg that seemed friendly enough in a way he couldn't really explain, and moved in to gently touch its shell.
