It had been too early when T'ryn had woken her up, it felt like she'd only just gone to bed after getting distracted with working on one of her more interesting leather projects she'd recently picked up. It was probably the least pleased Cazan had ever been to see the bronzerider (though even then she still managed to give him a small sleepy hug) as he interrupted a dream that starred himself. He put up with her quiet grumbling in his gentlemanly way (that almost made her even more irritated in her irrational morning state) and made sure she was out of bed and had water and something small to snack on for breakfast.
Cazan thought the hatching was supposed to be later! She got dressed as her brother as quickly as she could since he was supposed to be there for Katiryn. Hopefully the woman would get the gold dragon she wanted and then Cazan would make a lovely set of leathers for her and have another walking advertisement for her wares wandering the land.
The trip between was not any better than it had been before, she still had her arms around T'ryn in a death grip, still kept a wary eye out for anything strange in the terrible black void, and she was quite glad when they came out of the other side unscathed. They took seats at the front of the stands to try and have a good view and she took a moment to marvel at the spectacle. So many people! So many dragons all around them! And there were so many eggs out on the sands. Cazan shifted her weight slightly so that the side of her thigh was just barely touching T'ryn's. "Are there always so many eggs? And when are we supposed to cheer? Unless there's no cheering. This is a serious sort of event right?"
