Mylorah was used to rude dragons that just popped into her mind --she grew up with Grith as a baby-sitter after all-- and was just as used to the unhatched dragonets prodding her mind for whatever it was they were looking for. The little gold was definitely nosy and Mylorah giggled at her diving in and rooting around. She closed her eyes and did her best to open herself up to the scrutiny, knowing she couldn't hide anything even if she wanted to, which was true when the gold started poking at secrets and memories she rarely revisited herself.
She winced as the pain associated with some of the memories came back but she didn't cry or let go of the egg. In fact, she wanted the dragonet to know that pain meant the memories were still important, that the lost loved ones were in fact still loved ones. Pain sucked but it did make you stronger and did motivate you to keep going. What Mylorah did hate, though, was the nosy girl finding out she feared loving someone so deeply that when they left her it would utterly destroy her and remind her she wasn't wanted by anyone. Maybe they both learned something with that one and that some things weren't worth the risk.
After a little more scrutiny, she felt like she may have passed whatever test she had been put under but Mylorah also knew when she was definitely dismissed and started laughing again. What a sassy little thing! She would be a fun girl to have around, that was for sure. While she felt good with that little bonding session, Mylorah wasn't confident they would end up together. She never tried to get her hopes up at any Hatching for any colour. She was there as a potential option and her time would come if it was meant to or not. Of course she hoped it did and maybe sooner than later but her life was never over and she wasn't crushed with overwhelming disappointment or examine what was wrong with her after a Hatching.
"Thank you for your time," she whispered and walked away from the egg and the entire clutch. There was still time but she hadn't changed her mind on mingling with the others and moved off to the stands. She spotted the boy that arrived the day before sitting alone, as he seemed to enjoy doing at all of their meal times so far, so she headed in his direction to strike up some light conversation and see if she could get him to at least smile.
