The harsh and swift manner the gold dove into her thoughts almost had Daelyne reeling back, full lips parted on a gasp. But she couldn't. She couldn't let anyone see a weakness for what it was. If Daelyne did happen to impress what she wanted here she could let any of these idiotic boys see her at a down moment. They would take advantage, insist this was why a woman shouldn't ride a fighter. Too emotional. Can't handle the strain. Daelyne could handle what ever life threw at her and then some. She'd already proven it, getting over her mother's death and dealing with an over protective father. She would be fine. Stubborness kept her hand on the top of that egg,
She did have a smug satisfaction that the dragonet inside found her mind to be intriguing. She was intriguing. Every thought and action a subtle twist to get her way or to have as much fun as she possibly could. The baby gold could probably learn a thing or two from Daelyne. Her brows creased over the top of her blue eyes when the dragonet inside that gold filled egg seemed to find something amusing and with her smugness - smugness that fit both the girl and the color - slipped away from Dae. The girl took her hand away and moved from the egg. She spotted Tala in the crowd and threw the girl a wink. She'd need to sample that again.
A furtive look around had Daelyne scurrying through the careful laid clutch of eggs, careful as she could be not to bring Indivara's eyes towards her and trying not to disturb the eggs she moved through. Blue eyes cast around watching, waiting to make sure no one's eyes were on her and when they finally weren't the slender girl gently touched the smallest egg she could see. It would be fine, no way a brown or a bronze was housed in an egg so small. It had to be blue or green. She knew it and maybe if she touched it just right, the little bugger inside would find her good enough. Fuck but she hoped. Hoped so hard she probably broke something.
Calamity!
