Z’rin noticed rather quickly that something was wrong and moved his hand to a hip. N’mor usually didn’t carry a confused look, especially when they were in the middle of foreplay. There was a chance Rhezalth was bespeaking him, knowing that dragons had wonderful timing and every rider typically pulled some sort of face, whether it be blank, confusion, surprise, or any other strong emotion. He didn’t think this was the answer, though. N’mor often told him when the large bronze had something to say or gave a look of ‘dragons; what can you do?’ when he didn’t feel like explaining what was said.
So that left something he said. Maybe N’mor didn’t want to have the drink again. Z’rin was fine with that! It was rather intense and left him out of sorts during and after but it was also pretty fun. After calling his name a couple more times, the bronzerider finally seemed to snap back to reality and Z’rin gave a lopsided grin. “I was mostly teasing. We don’t have to have her drink, it’s not like we really need it anyway, but if we did have it again, I’d say we only have half of whatever she serves.”
As he explained himself, Z’rin realised something else and worried he was on the right track now and quickly added, “But I really am okay being with you without it.” He wasn’t tired of N’mor! He hoped his lover knew that. Hell, if N’mor’s hand went exploring south, he’d certainly know he wasn’t tired or repulsed with the idea of continuing on as they always had since that first day.
“I’ll also be okay if you tell me I’m a silly bluerider interrupting something between you and Rhezalth,” Z’rin gave a light laugh, kind of hoping that really was the reason after all and he hadn’t made N’mor uncomfortable.
