Jazz had moved a little bit backward to give Par'a move only to greeted in the most up beat and cheerful way possible. How on Pern could she be chipper?! Jazz just looked at Par'a with an risen eyebrow, her lips twisting ever so slightly into a lopsided and cheeky smile and with a slight incline of her head, picked out a sweet roll before practically inhaling it and choosing to take a nearby seat.
"Jazira, Jazz for short." She spoke softly, regarding with Par'a with the risen eyebrow still before she heard the overly dramatic voice and laughed softly.
"She's right you know. All work and no play makes for a very boring life. Boredom leads to idle thumbs and idle thumbs get into trouble." She grinned with the evilness of a tunnel cat eyeing up a tunnel snake. However she turned to face B'jin as he mentioned the lashing.
"I didn't think lashing were used as punishment anymore." She piped up, casting a side glance to Par'a before shifting her position slightly so she could look at his shoulders to see if there were any signs of the scars. His tunic hide them and she settled back into a more comfortable position, leaning in her chair a little before she was up on her feet and moving across the hall was surprising speed considering she wasn't running. All experienced healers should how to move at speed with looking rushed at least that is what she was taught. She pinched a pitcher of juice and a three mugs of klah before heading over, turning in an almost dance like fashion around other people before setting the jug and mugs down without spilling a drop. Then she just let herself drop heavily into her chair and picked up her mug of klah and sipped, only pausing to peer over the rim almost like a canine guarding its' food.
