“Thank you!” Indivara was delighted by the praise, not having expected it. She wouldn’t have put much stock on R’nd disagreeing with her choices, because she was confident in what she’d chosen, but having him approve the scent for Veeth’s oil was a bonus! Smiling happily, Indivara accepted both items back and leaned forward slightly to sniff at the bottle R’nd offered to her, her eyebrows furrowing as she considered the scent. Lifting an eyebrow, Indivara smirked playfully. “Definitely not lavender,” she teased, leaning back again, amused by the expression on R’nd’s face as he clearly lost himself to a train of thought she was not privy to.
She wasn’t sure she wanted to be, truthfully.
His comment caught her by surprise, and Indivara’s cheerful expression faltered, a frown of confusion finding its place upon her face. Glancing down at herself, Indivara tried to figure out what it was that looked good on her. She was wearing dragonrider pants and boots, so that wasn’t what he’d be talking about. Maybe her shirt? It was one that Kerrin (she didn’t think she’d ever call him by his honorific.) had made for her recently. It was a nice deep blue that he said matched her eyes; long sleeved and pulled in at the waist but designed to make it look like she actually had boobs, she felt she looked rather nice in it. Probably that was what he meant.
Looking back up, Indivara gave R’nd a quizzical look. “Thanks? Kerrin finished my shirt last week?” She wasn’t really sure why he’d be commenting on it, honestly; it wasn’t like it was interesting or fancy and certainly not eye-catching like the clothing R’nd and Val were so commonly seen in. Maybe that was it? The fact that she was wearing clothing that was actually her own – and made for her, no less! – instead of stealing it off Val. But Val’s shirts weren’t really appropriate for wearing to the Hold. They were more like dresses on her than shirts, and while she liked wearing his clothing around home (it was comfortable, and it smelled like him, and she liked that) it really wasn’t appropriate to wear out and about!
