R’nya frowned; he had manners! Better manners, certainly, than the brownrider who had had his feet upon someone else’s desk and was clearly taunting him. R’nya knew he shouldn’t react, but the man really was infuriating! He could feel Xyreith’s amusement in the back of his mind, and it really did take too much concentration to ignore the trouble making dragon. Why was thinking up a punishment for the beast so difficult?
“Joyful,” R’nya drawled, giving K’tir a flat look at the man stood up and sighed with such dramatics. He didn’t miss the brownrider’s hesitation when it came to keeping his book to himself, and R’nya raised an eyebrow at the man with a slightly amused look on his face. Obviously the book was something that would cause some type of mayhem if it were left behind, which intrigued R’nya; whatever was K’tir up to this time? R’nya shook his head just barely as K’tir put the book in his bag. By the time his unexpected guest was standing tall once more, R’nya’s face was blank if slightly flat.
R’nya rolled his eyes heavenward when K’tir placed a kiss on his cheek before waltzing out of the office with a call back. R’nya waited a few moments – he had to make sure K’tir wasn’t nearby – and then he laughed softly, shaking his head to himself in honest amusement. Running his hand over his head, fingers brushing his hair back, R’nya turned and strode out of his office, closing the door behind him and making his way back towards his weyr, chuckling softly to himself in amusement a couple of times before he made it back to Rhaedalyn and their girls.
His mate’s comment that he wasn’t gone for long was met with a dry smirk, and a response that indicated Xyreith was full of shit, and definitely going to regret his teasing in the near future. But of course, not in any such words that would be repeated by little girls who were getting far too good at parroting their parents!
