“Well, maybe you should work on being as mentally stubborn with your dragon as you are with the rest of us so you can keep grounded during those flights,” R’dare knew that was possible but he felt the whole battle of wills to be too much work and didn’t think he’d ever come across a time to need it. He was pretty sure he knew who all of his relatives were so he didn’t have to worry about accidentally bedding them. Besides, he had vague recollections of flights and didn’t think it’d matter if he ended up with someone he didn’t like since it was easy enough to dress and go. You say that now but you do like to complain when I’m about to chase. Oh, we should visit when Rilaleeyth next flies. She’s rather lovely to chat with.
R’dare choked on his wine at the mention of the admittedly sweet dragon. He began coughing and, somehow, managed to set the glass down without spilling it so he could thump his chest a couple of times before putting his arms up over his head. After a moment, with eyes watering, he glanced up at N’mor with all the seriousness his normally relaxed features could handle, “Daisi wants to chase Rilaleeyth. I don’t think I’m ever visiting you again.” He’d avoid Ista forever if possible to avoid landing in J’ver’s bed. He decided his previous line of thought may have flaws in it after all and perhaps he should work his dragon on finding out the green pairs they could both agree on.
“Perhaps I should leave now just in case she suddenly springs up.”
