Jada could still feel the younger girl's blood on her hands; The blood-stained, torn robe had been taken and burned. Seeing the red wounds now, she could remember vividly just how red they had been- She squeezed the girl thoughtlessly, for her own comfort. Smiled when Indivara giggled, glad she was able to hear it now. "What mischief are you up to, Indivara?" she tried to keep her tone stern, but failed. She was too happy to have a friend with her tonight, not to be alone in a room like this. Not that Krypth wasn't company, but she had gotten used to having a roommate. And Krypth wouldn't be laying next to her- maybe the thought was making her lonely.
It took her a moment to translate each slurred word, and each one made her lips thin. "They are doing what?" her tone was indignant. Banning Indivara from Standing? "They do realize that won't keep a dragon from coming and getting you, right?" She gave the golden dragonet a meaningful look. Krypth inspected one paw, innocent as a new-born human. "And goodness knows what you'll do in order to get back on the Sands, am I right?" her tone was mild. Better to have the people on the Sands and supervised! "What will they do, tell your little bronze that he can't have you, you're not allowed to Stand?"
Indivara shouldn't have a bronze. Krypth's voice was firm. She deserves better. Bronzes are nasty little creatures. Maybe she could go for a nice Brown or Blue instead? I like Blues. So nice, so respectful. Not as intelligent as Browns, but infinitely better than a Bronze. And so sweet. She needs a dragon like Veeth, Pistoth or Gallifreth. It would make all of them much happier in the end if Indivara got a dragon that Krypth could approve of. A Green was much too stupid for a smart girl like Indivara. Her voice was thoughtful.
