It was a little eerie to Jada, to see her student so devoid of life. Indivara was a sparkling girl, a burst of fire, passion and intelligence rolled up into one package. This demure, sad little creature was not the girl that the Harper remembered from only a sevenday before, and it hurt her to see. She could feel Indivara's fingers tangled tightly in her shirt, and her arm around the other girl was as tight as she dared make it. She wouldn't let the girl get away until she had assured herself that the child was going to be fine. She had precious enough friends, and Indivara was counted among them. How could she not be?
"There is no need to be sorry for anything." Jada shook her head fiercely, patting the small bed. Krypth crooned in agreement, dropping her fat little body down in front of the door decisively. If Indivara planned to leave, it wouldn't be out the door! At least not until someone else said so. She held out her arms as giggles turned to sobs, her own face scrunching up. "Don't you cry." she said fiercely, eyes watering dangerously. "You're the strong one. Come over here and pat my head and call me a wherry."
Wherry sounds good. said Krypth wistfully. Don't call her a wherry, Indivara, it will make me hungry.[color=#CBA60F]
