With a small smile, Valerian gave a light petting to the egg and got back to his feet. That was intense and the harper was glad he had decided to follow through with attending the class after all. It may still be a silly tradition and he might not Impress the little trusting dragon but he was thankful for having that brief experience all the same. It was actually a shame he had to leave the little thing behind and he found himself whispering words of encouragement to grow strong, stay safe, and maybe they would be able to meet again soon.
Trying to contain the smile the waves of kindness had inspired, Valerian stepped back from the little egg and glanced around at his classmates. They were all still engrossed in their own experiences and G’rem didn’t seem ready to pull them off the sands just yet so maybe he could Touch one more egg. Two steps to his left and he was facing a bluish-grey egg that seemed to be the darkest in the clutch. In Valerian’s estimation, that made it unique and deserved his attention. Once more crouching down, he placed a careful hand on the shell.
Empty Room Egg.
