Silence is Golden’s response to Alerae
The touch was so tentative! The dragonet waited, and the longer she waited, the more amusement began to bubble up within the shell. The woman on the other side was so funny! Her shell was not going to break! What a silly idea! Thankfully, the young mind within the shell did not poke beyond the surface thoughts of Alerae’s mind, and so did not stumble across the reason her company was so wary of pressing too hard upon her shell. Instead, her amusement remained, light and teasing, and on the edge of soft laughter. What a funny creature this human was!
Let It Go’s response to Trelanvor
YAY! COMPANY!
The egg just about exploded with pure joy when Trelanvor’s hand touched upon the shell, the draognet within so excited to greet someone, that its mind ploughed into that of the young man, and had they physically met, probably would have sent them both tumbling across the sand like dust before a breeze.
The dragonet’s enthusiasm was heavy, thick, and overwhelming.
All Is Well’s response to Ryvian
Such a tentative touch! The trembling wasn’t noticed so much from the hand on the shell, as it was from the way the emotions quivered within the young man’s mind. The dragonet within brushed ever so gently against Ryvian’s consciousness, soft and questioning. Why so much unhappiness? Was it the unhatched dragonet? What was it? Why did it seem as if the one on the other side had never felt joy? Sadness welled up from the young dragon, and it tried to reassure, but had no idea how to do it. All would be well for the young man, surely! But perhaps he should find another dragonet to greet? The one within the egg squirmed, shamed by its inability to make Ryvian feel better.
But First, Coffee’s response to Telrynd
Careful consideration was given to the mind that connected with the unhatched dragonet’s own, a serious, frowning consideration that was clearly weighing up the boy on the other side. The mind was poked at, and thoughts provoked to the forefront for further consideration…
Then all at once, the dragonet within dismissed Telrynd indignantly. Be gone!
