Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Telrynd arrived at the Sands at a leisurely pace. He was naturally excited since this was the first clutch he was able to Stand for and therefore it was also the first time he was able to participate in a Touching but he didn’t want to come across as too eager. He spent the morning doing his usual routine of eating and helping his mother with some of the younger kids in the crèche before the other workers arrived to relieve him. Once he was free, Telrynd wandered around to see if he could help anywhere with the efforts to keep the flooding under control until closer to the allotted time for his group to assemble.
He quietly approached Indamor, not at all surprised to see his friend already there and assessing the group and eggs. It was, after all, what Telrynd planned to do as well. He wasn’t going to rush into the mass of eggs like most of their classmates were sure to do but he would study them, see which ones called out to him, which ones everyone else flocked to, and which were over looked. There was a strategy in everything and this was no different. He wanted to approach it with a careful understanding.
“Hey,” he greeted with only a passing glance to Indamor as he came up to stand by the boy. Neither were the type for hugs or even the casual pat on the shoulder or arm he always saw the older dragonriders doing in greeting. Simply knowing the other was there and acknowledging the presence verbally was good enough for them. Besides, Telrynd had to secretly scan the area to see if R’nd had shown up or if he would. He still hated keeping such a secret and had decided long ago that he would be counted as a man once he Impressed and could make his own decisions. That meant, he could tell R’nd he was the playboy bluerider’s son. Whatever happened after that would be out of his hands but at least the truth would be aired out.
