Eat you? The young dragon's voice was torn somewhere between horrified and mortified as he lifted his head up suddenly, sending his usually much more graceful rider rocking to catch his balance at the sudden movement; being in on Aveleth's thoughts only gave Z'ia half a picture, as he was missing out on what was going on in Rhaedalyn's. Naturally, his mind went down a far dirtier path than either the girl or his dragon and Z'ia burried his face in one hand as he hid the expression that would have given away his thoughts, giggling quietly at Aveleth's indignation that Z'ia could even imagine such a thing involving Rhaedalyn.
Why-but-I-... the young dragon's mind stuttered over his own thoughts, unable to vocalise them and he slowly lowered his head, creeling softly in confused concern as he stared up at Rhaedalyn sadly. Z'ia translated, lifting his head from his fingers with muffled and half swallowed giggles, green eyes sparkling in amusement. "He would never eat you," Z'ia sniggered again, the hand his face hadn't been burried in petting Aveleth gently on the nose near where the man sat. "He's very sweet," Z'ia agreed lightly, watching midly as Aveleth finally relaxed under Rhaedalyn's gentle pettings, the blue finally gaining enough courage to lift his nose and blow a gentle and affectionate breath over the girl's face. Z'ia, smirking in amusement, rolled his eyes dramatically before tossing the girl a wink.
"Hrm? ... Oh!" Z'ia shifted slightly, tilting his head as he considered Rhaedalyn thoughtfully. "Sometimes." It was clear he was hedging, and the bluerider made no attept to appear otherwise as he fidgited slightly, playing up his 'caught-red-handed' act and blushing uncomfortably. Sometimes more than sometimes, Aveleth put in helpfully, his own voice as conflicted as Z'ia currently appeared - unsure whether to pretend they had no idea what the girl was going on about, or blurting out the whole truth, they lingered somewhere in the middle. Z'ia nodded uncomfortably in agreement with his dragon, dark curls bouncing around his face as he chewed on his bottom lip, right hand raising to tug absently on a curl.
"Do you?" It would be a pity if he had to find a new place, the one they were in currently was perfect for a variety of reasons, and Z'ia had only found it a few turns prior, after having to give up his previous spot when D'hys discovered him. His shoulders' slumped slightly and Z'ia leaned forward, palms pressed flat to Aveleth's nose as he peered down at Rhaedalyn. "Please don't tell D'hys." The fact that he sounded like a begging child galled Z'ia, but he was quite sure thinking she was some saving secret holder would do nothing but play on Rhaedalyn's odd sense of pride, and while Z'ia didn't give two hoots whether D'hys knew what he was up to or not, it would be interesting to see what the girl made of the request.
Aveleth decided it would be interesting to see what she made of a lap full of Z'ia, as he tipped his nose with a playful glance at Aradissicath, dumping his tiny rider on top of the girl; Z'ia squeaked in surprise, trying valiantly to remove himself from the girl without causing her to squawk at him in indignation - that was all he needed to do; touch a boob and have the woman deck him across the clearing!
Unless stated otherwise, Aveleth never speaks to anyone but Z'ia
