N'kal stood off to the side, a scowl on his face for the most part, and that was mostly because that was just who he was. Torath's emotions and agitation at the situation was not helping. But at least he was far calmer than he had been before, nuzzling Okalinath occasionally. N'kal had been on his way to sit with Torath and Okalinath when Torath lifted his head from the sands, something having took his interest. Lifting his brow he stopped and turned, initially he did not see the boy, Bordtai, that had managed to make a friend of the rider and his dragon. He has grown.. , rumbled at him calmly. He looked back at Torath but since he wasn't exactly forthcoming with the information he turned dark eyes again on the candidates.
He saw him then and he couldn't help but grin a bit. He had indeed grown some, he wasn't nearly as short, and he seemed to walk with a bit more confidence. He gave him a nod as he walked by him, toward Torath and Okalinath's clutch. He watched him choose an egg, Torath rumbled softly as he watched intently, head up, eyes swirling slowly as he stretched his legs out in front of him. When Bordtai laid his palm on one of the eggs Torath said,This will be his time. , to N'kal. They had hoped so at the last clutching too, but perhaps this would indeed be his time. There were certainly plenty of eggs to go around, surely one of them would like Bordtai enough. He seemed different now, not so scared and worried, N'kal was glad for that. Well let's hope so yeah?, he replied then finished his walk across the sands and hopped up onto one of Torath's leg's to watch at a distance, hoping Bordtai would touch more than the one egg.
