Vee gave a bit of a sigh of relief that the woman answered that she was indeed fine and tried to take the blame for the run in. "I wasn't watching either, I am so very sorry! Are you sure you're alright?", she knew the woman had stated she was alright, but sometimes people were hurt and just felt the need to ignore it. Occasionally that caused more harm then good and Vee wanted to be sure that was not the case here. She herself ignored the twinge in her own shoulder as it was nothing more painful then being headbutted by a fussy toddler. It was then that she realized the woman had asked if she was alright. She gave a bit of a smile and nodded. "Indeed, I am fine. My son gives me more bumps and bruises that that." she smiled a bit brighter and gave a playfully dismissive wave of her hand. The last thing she wanted was this unknown woman to worry about her when she herself could be injured. Vee wasn't the type to worry for herself over someone else so it was natural for her to dismiss her own hurts, at least most of the time, depending on the hurt.
"Oh!", she answered cheerfully, the awkward moment of bumped shoulders all but dismissed from her mind. "I'm Vaeyla, You can call me Vee if you like. Nice to meet you! Are you a candidate as well? I thought I knew everyone as long as I have been here.", she bit her lip and gave a bit of an apologetic look as she started to ring her fingers together in a bit of a nervous habit. "Sorry, I tend to babble on occasion." She would hate for the woman to regret speaking to her, sometimes people didn't like others to prattle on and on so she kept herself quiet for a moment to see where the conversation went. She awkwardly pushed her fingers through her dark hair, pushing it back from her face and back over her shoulders then went right back to ringing her fingers together. She was such a mess when it came to being around people she didn't know, it was a wonder the girl ever made a friend and kept one.
