Quite the contrary to being upset by Grith’s indignant and rather high pitched screech of objection, Indivara laughed delightedly, before kicking another ball at the green dragon’s rump when she strut away from her, nose in the air like a gold. “Snot!” Indivara yelled back at her, doing her best to also project the thought as loud as she could into Grith’s brain, like the creature seemed to so enjoy doing to her.
Delighted blue eyes watched another ball bounce off the green dragon and come careening in her direction, the girl clearly poised to pounce on the item, when it flew just past her and she heard the solid thwack of leather on flesh. An abrupt laughter tore from her lips as Indivara spun around, blue eyes sparkling with delighted amusement as she laughed gleefully at Ryvian, giggling manically. Her amusement was only beginning to diminish as the boy complained, before Indivara startled, and then burst into a whole new wave of laughter when he was suddenly tumbling over like a tree in one of their summer storms.
Indivara stepped closer as Ryvian climbed to his feet, small hands tugging the other’s out of his face so she could examine the areas where the balls had hit him, frowning thoughtfully as she checked the damage, before freezing dangerously when Ryvian made his comment. Indivara leaned up on her toes, getting right into his space so their noses were almost touching. “You wish,” she whispered back, giving him a solid shove the same moment Ryvian skipped backwards, the girl’s eyes sparkling with satisfaction as she tossed her head, hair flowing down her back.
Then there was the crack of leather on bone, and Indivara face planted at Ryvian’s feet with a grunt, the back of her head throbbing from the blow of the ball.
