Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! R’nd only blinked at the kiss to his nose, the surprise move being too much for him to compute right away. When it did sink in seconds later he was proud of himself for not shrieking her name again or even gawking at what she did. That was likely in part due to all of her comments and the tone they came in now. She was far too casual about everything and seemed to be delighting in teasing him over everything he said. “You, Indivara,” R’nd responded with a frown to only the question about what lady he had been referring to. He knew she didn’t see herself as one and some days it seemed like she thought of herself as one of the boys, which was fine to the bluerider that had his Holder beliefs and reservations coaxed out of him during exile, but R’nd still clung to hope that one day Indivara would see herself as something more than that; something more than the scarred girl.
Another look was given to the space around him from his new view of sitting on the floor but her clothes were well and truly missing. Did they grow legs and walk off like his own clothing liked to do? That caused a slight quirk of lips into a small grin as R’nd finally bent over to look under the bed. He had found clothing in stranger locations after flights than this and this spot at least made some sort of sense since they could have kicked the items in their frenzied efforts to get horizontal. Oh Faranth! R’nd still couldn’t believe he had slept with Indivara! She was an adoptive little sister of sorts and special to Kerrin; how could he let dragon lust get in the way of his determination to not bed her?
The ball of clothing was spotted and R’nd sprawled out flat on his stomach so he could reach under and pull it out. He didn’t examine the contents, assuming they were Indivara’s shirt and pants and sat up so he could set the clothing on the bed for her. “I think these must be yours.” He hoped, anyway! R’nd also hoped if they weren’t that she would tell him. The idea of Indivara leaving in some random rider’s clothing that had been left there since a previous flight of unknown timing didn’t sit well with him. He’d rather give his friend his shirt which would cover her enough to be an extremely short dress.
Wanting to give her some privacy to change, R’nd turned around and leaned back against the bed, staring at the wall. “You really don’t mind me grabbing you, do you?” His mind, while still a bit groggy from the flight and stunned from the reveal of his partner, had finally made its way back to analysing how Indivara had been acting since he woke up. He knew Indivara could cover up her pain and rejection with a smile but that was usually days after going into seclusion and cursing the existence of whatever had upset her. This seemed different. The girl was either genuinely okay or something else was going on that he hadn’t quite put together yet. With his luck, he was suddenly a part of a bet Indivara had made and won.
Rell gave Psh a quick lick to her cheek in apology for leaving her side and quickly padded across the bed to nuzzle at R’nd’s shoulders and neck in an attempt to cheer him up. R’nd smiled as he felt the blue and he reached back to run his fingers over the long tail but didn’t scoop Rell up as the firelizard curled up on the bed, pressed against R’nd.
