"You wouldn't be sleeping with me around, anyways," Erisi answered with a smirk of equal measure to Valerian's. His self-confidence was in full bloom. It didn't really help that Valerian went along with him so often, but that was what helped Erisi to feel so comfortable with his friend. There was no one else in Katila that he was quite so open with. To most people, he was just another greenriding slut. To Valerian he was still a greenriding slut, but there was just a little more depth revealed to him. Erisi was hardly ashamed of his lifestyle - it was fun, and usually the most interaction he liked to have with other people. Most Katilans annoyed him within seconds, making someone like Valerian a rare find. Erisi did not want to cruelly mock him or watch some terrible and unforeseen horror fall down upon him.
"You come up with the best ideas," Erisi purred in such a way that it was unclear if he was praising Valerian or simply mocking him for stating the obvious. Erisi didn't want to bother with chasing certain people down. The Gathering Square held their best odds for making people uncomfortable. He had no doubt that he would succeed. He had Charath on his side, after all, and the Green asserted a fair amount of dominance over Harac. The Gold flitt willingly listened to Charath - it was some sort of odd sisterhood that Erisi did not want to think about.
"You know who the obvious choice is, right?" Erisi began as he led the way back towards the edge of the forest. "B'jin." Which he knew Valerian would whine about, or at least suspected him to. But, shells, the greenrider had obviously detested the discovery of firelizards. He had singled himself out from the very beginning to this sort of torment! It was just coincidence that Valerian favored him and Talian looked up to him as some sort of hideous father figure (Erisi didn't understand that either). Either way, Erisi suspected he'd have to torment the man all on his own.
