"Thank you," Mylorah whispered as she stepped back from the gold egg and then moved aside in case there was still someone waiting for it. She didn't feel brave lately. She wanted to hide, steal away all of her loved ones and keep everyone safe until the killer was caught. But she appreciated the little gold's belief in her. It helped bolster her up and find the courage to keep going. So many relief on her, like Zoremet. She watched her brother for a moment as he connected with his current egg. He was far too good for their world and worried someone would easily take advantage of him. She knew how funny that was considering K'dar felt that way about her, especially when she wandered into the world of Lords and Ladies.
That thought made her think of Tazikel and the gold's hope for more dancing. She would dance again. She would laugh again as well. Mylorah knew it was possible as she did it once before after the landslide.
It was tempting to go for another egg but she wanted to end on a high note and the encouragement and thoughts of dancing seemed good enough. Mylorah moved over to the stands to wait for more people to finish up.
