B'jin felt the responses Talian gave, first to his snapping and then following his hasty response. The fact that he could bring about such a strong response in the boy still bothered the man; the healer was obviously far too used to being abused - especially if he thought B'jin, of all pepole, was going to hurt him. The greenrider knew he had a bit of a temper at times, but he had never hit anyone, and certainly never dreamed of hitting a child or a woman. As he hugged Talian tightly, chin resting on the healer's head, B'jin had to correct that line of thought. He was well aware of his tendency to think of Talian as a child, as opposed to a young man. He knew Talian was more than old enough to be considered a man; but he had difficulty with seeing the healer picturing himself as such. B'jin sighed softly, his puzzled confusion in the expelled air, as he was given a bare moment of peace before Talian's little explosion.
The man's dark blonde eyebrows arched upwards on his forhead at the accusation, but he made no effort to come to his own defence; brown eyes placid, body relaxed. He watched the boy pull away (he was definitely a boy at the moment, B'jin decided, watching him calmly) and waited as Talian hugged himself. No reply was given at Talian's less-than-a-question request; said in the same manner as some of B'jin's own comments from earlier, the greenrider simply studied the healer with interest as he waited... and there it was.
The apology came, just as he knew it would. A moment later, a dark laugh and another apology, followed by excuses. B'jin leaned back slightly on his heels, frowning as both arms rose slowly to cross over his chest. His expression was curious and very slightly irritated as he watched Talian, quietly waiting. When he was sure the masterhealer wasn't going to say any more, he spoke, still with the closed off air he had created by leaning back and crossing is arms. The frown was less predominate, but his eyes were afire with a rapid array of emotions that would not sit still.
"Did you mean it?" It was a simple question, and his expression was serious as the sun rising every morning. His lips were pursed, but he released the pressure enough to speak once more, "Never apologise for your belief." B'jin fought the urge to relent and simply hug Talian, hug him until everything was as better as it would ever be. But on this, he would remain as firm and untouchable as he had to, to get is point across. "No one should ever apologise their beliefs."
