V’ler stared at B’jin impassively as the comment was made about his snoring. He wasn’t sure if he did or not either given the very simple fact that one couldn’t hear themselves while sleeping. However, his assumption was the same as the greenrider’s in that Indivara would have likely made a comment about it along with a swift punch to stomach or arm depending on her mood if he did. She liked to point out he drooled and that was something he normally could deny but there were times where a little escaped but Indivara was just as guilty for it. V’ler was just happy that B’jin, Indivara, or most of his other bedmates didn’t drool on his chest. That thought alone almost made the bluerider cringe.
He didn’t flinch when B’jin started poking at him though V’ler did wonder what he was up to. What other habit was about to be pointed out? When fingers brushed over a spot on his neck that felt a bit tender, V’ler winced and then blinked in response to the apology he was given. Those were a rarity, at least the ones being given to him and not from him. For the most part, he was a gentle lover even in flight lust but there were times that it got the better of him and he was a bit rougher than usual and V’ler felt bad for even the tiniest bruise left on another. On the flip side, he received more than his fair share from lovers. Some greenriders fought their winner and some losers were frustrated and heavy handed on whomever they grabbed.
He gave a small shrug and crooked half smile, “I’m sure I’ve had worse. Nothing to worry about, B’jin.” Seeing as how he didn’t feel sore all over and the marks on his neck were likely from love bites getting a bit wild, V’ler didn’t mind wearing them. A glance over what he could see of B’jin didn’t show any welts left from fingernails and he hoped there wouldn’t be any bruises but V’ler still hesitantly asked. “Are… did I harm you?” D’hys may have called him out on enjoying flights now that he was settled into the life of being a dragonrider but V’ler still had issues with some parts of it, especially when a friend was involved.
All the pouting you two are doing is ruining the happiness out here. Can you keep it down, please? Veeth nuzzled Larrikith and did his best impression of a feline purring contentedly. It wasn’t often he got to win Larrikith’s flights and show her his affection! This was a special occasion that should be celebrated! He liked B’jin’s initial reaction with laughter far better than whatever it was they were doing now.
