I'shan is mine
The bluerider shuddered at those words. To many men, those words would have been a red light, a warning for trouble to come. To I'shan, however, they were a sign; a sign that N'gelt actually wanted him, that he wasn't just a toy to be shelved once the owner's playfulness was sated. Heart quivering excitedly, I'shan wrapped his arms dotingly around N'gelt and allowed himself to be pulled close, not caring for a moment that N'gelt was laying claim to him in such a possessive fashion.
N'gelt's calmer, velvety voice as he accepted the invitation was enough to steal I'shan's breath away. Content that disaster had been avoided, he leaned into N'gelt's side and let out a wispy sigh. "Come on, baby, why don't you put the bottle down and let me get you something to eat?" he crooned.
He looked to R'nd, pleased and even relieved to see his friend taking the whole thing in stride. I'shan wasn't ready to give yup a friendship either, but with R'nd's infatuation with B'jin, the bluerider was certain he could convince N'gelt of R'nd's harmlessness. He didn't dare smile or wink at R'nd, though, so instead he just offered a knowing stare that he hoped his friend would be accustomed to be now.
I'shan wanted to go fix a plate for his lover, but he decided to wait until N'gelt let him go. Pulling away now might jeopardize the uneasy truce. Instead, he leaned his head against the man and continued his earlier thought. "R'nd has eager eyes set on that greenrider," he reassured N'gelt sweetly. He lifted his head and pecked N'gelt on the cheek. "Have a seat, babe."
