Nevani was surprised to hear the Green's soft airy voice in her mind, not that it was the first time she had heard a dragon's voice, but because she hadn't really been close enough to a young one to know that they broadcasted to everyone. She knew that the words hadn't been meant for her.
"I believe I remember." She said. " I couldn't really see, because I was late, but I did hear about her... Is she doing allright now?" She had heard about the young dragon's rough start to life, it only just not clicked in her mind that this was the same dragon. "Oh, I'm Nevani, for now, I'm just a weyrbrat." She did have plans to stand as a gold candidate one day soon. She just had some complications to get though first.
There it was again, the young dragon speaking. "Oh my, she's not happy at all. Nuloth, where does it itch most?" She couldn't help but to ask, already taking the offered soapsand, and nodding to the instructions. She began to scrub the little green's side, under her good wing, because she didn't want to somehow accidentally hurt the bad one further. It was as if Nevani's motherly instincts kicked in, the way she tended to the cleaning of the dragon, getting lost in the task. She forgot to speak more as she focused on the cleaning, scrubbing firmly, but afraid to go full force, because the green seemed so small.
