"That's bull," Ali replied. He rested one hand on Stubborn in a sign of solidarity, trying to soothe the little beast. She was cute! Ali imagined Lump would arrive to try and court her soon enough, but for the time being the little Queen would get to enjoy her peace, as neither of Ali's bronzes were nowhere in sight. The scratched the little gold delicately, but his face continued to betray his vicious attitude towards the situation.
"That's utter wherry teeth, Ravana," he spat. "That's just what they say to get us to comply...You know, stop people from complaining or actually trying to fix it. They teach people that it's unavoidable." His voice bubbled with disdain. "The fact that it took place in a flight doesn't make it more okay than if it was any other time." There was a hint of grim resignation in his tone. He'd been insisting as much for turns, but no one listened. He wasn't even sure if he believed it himself. Flights were a good excuse for him tro attack his perceived attackers. He had a reputation for being a violent partner himself, always justified because he was the greenrider. He played the self-defense card, but he sometimes had to wonder if he acted that way because Ast forced him, or if it was because he wanted to.
He narrowed his eyes at Ravana with deadly insistence. "..Pregnant? With T'rel's kid..?" he inquired warily. He pulled his hand away from Stubborn and curled it into a fist. He remained silent for a few long, lingering seconds. Well, at least she knew the solution. He could sense the grief in her, but that didn't make it any less necessary.
"If you can't, I'll be the one to take you," he said, his voice soft and utterly cold.
