"I suppose we'll see," was his only reply. He didn't foresee a change of attitude anytime soon, but there wasn't much point in arguing or getting too worked up over it. He was there, and unless he grew wings or gills, he wasn't getting home. Ever. Creatures of legend or not, he still wanted them out of his life. Lysmelia had a point though; there wasn't really too much for him to go back to. There was Fiora, of course, but surely she was over their awkward little encounter by now.
He loosened up again when the topic changed. "I was wondering how you knew for a moment. About the nickname, I mean. But I guess it makes sense, there isn't much else you could shorten it to," he commented. A small smile played on the corners of his mouth. "Well, I like being called that. I hadn't heard it in a while...I guess you're the first person I've really spoken to, other than patients and a couple other people in passing." Like that greenrider. Ick.
"...You know," he said after a moment of unintentionally awkward silence, "I think I may have heard of you. Heterochromia is rare." He could remember people back home occasionally mentioning a girl with mismatched eyes. He wasn't afraid of it, like some people might have been. It was a curiosity, though.
