Ilveriath noticed the bluerider's approach first. The dragon, exceptionally lazy on this particular evening, lifted his head and eyed R'nd as he approached. Hello said the blue, his voice languid and warm. He wasn't sure how this would go over, but he was more than willing to sit back and see. I'shan hadn't taken any other visitors since he'd gotten together with N'gelt. The brownrider displayed possessive tendencies, so Ilveriath guessed the man might get a bit jealous.
Ilveriath might have hoped so, were he not concerned with his rider's happiness. Of course, I'shan might have hoped so as well, if he didn't like N'gelt so much.
R'nd has arrived Ilveriath announced with a distinctly uninterested flair. It was cultivated disinterest, no doubt. I'shan darted to the door and pulled it open just a crack.
"Hey there," he said softly. He pushed the door open and motioned for his friend to come inside. "Come on in. I have some roast wherry for us," he said. He'd made a few servings extra as well, hoping N'gelt may show up. He doubted it, but it would be most excellent to show his new brownrider off to his friend!
I'shan looked calm on the outside, with he was barely containing it. He wanted to burst into a tirade of less-than-masculine squeaks and squeels about his new catch, but for the time being he restrained himself.
