Quenym was more than delighted at the expression on Casa's face. When they had finally been able to get together after a long while being busy - who the heck thought up that new chore roster anyway?! - it had felt like they had been apart for epyears, not just a few weeks. He had even gone so far as hugging her.
That had made his dreams the next night fairly interestingly Quenym frowned for the barest moment, he was going to have to talk to someone about this. He knew it was normal and wasn't totally ignorant about the mechanics of puberty, but that was the physical. He wanted to know what it meant to be a man. He wanted to be a man for Casa.
But for now they were two young teens that were busy placing rocks in strange places for odd reasons. That is to say, none at all. The grin on Casa's face was infectious, and he couldn't stop himself from grinning right back. She had a beautiful grin....
With that thought and her whispered reminder that it was his turn, he snuck into the kitchens and arranged his brilliantly colored rocks into the shape of an arrow, pointing outside towards the wherry pens. Why? Because he could! And no one would think that the wherries had laid them, though it was amusing to think that someone might have that thought for a moment. If they were lucky. He turned towards Casa and gave her a thumbs up, glad that he had her along. Now for her! Two more spots, and they were good to go!
