"Oh, you know..." god think of something fast "it's hard to hold onto them when you jump... you know?"
[ghalath]good enough [/ghalath]
"And thanks. I probably shouldn't have dove, but... whatever." He smiled, sorta. "You should try it. Really. If Nishkath will let you. Ghalath loves it, and I've a lot of practice, so I don't fuck up too often. But not all dragons feel the same way."
He ducked his head underwater long enough to fully shake out his shirt, and ruffle the forest dirt from his hair. He rose again after only a second. But it was as though that moment underwater had changed everything. He listened to O'wain, not quite sure if he was hearing right. Time to leave? And Z'jan didn't have to try to hatch some new idiotic ruse, or transparent lie? He'd take it.
"Yeah, I should probably go too." he smiled. A smile of relief... though he hoped that part wasn't too obvious. "Still hungry, I might add." He shot a pointed look at Nishkath, and managed a slight grin.
Giving O'wain a moderately wide berth (that he hoped looked casual) Z'jan began swimming for shore. He looked back once at the brownrider. He liked the guy well enough. The sex had been great. So...
Is it just him... or am I like this everytime?
Ghalath didn't answer right away. She touched down on the shore near Nishkath, flapping her wings a few times and then letting them linger half folded over her back. Her head turned towards Z'jan, swirling eyes watching him breastroke to shore.
[ghalath] you can always change[/ghalath] she said simply [ghalath]but you don't have to[/ghalath]. Z'jan considered this, lake water splashing into his face and the light fading ever more quickly. She was right.
But it didn't make him feel any better.
