Talian quirked a brow and shook his head, his thin lips twisted into an ironic and almost pained smirk. "I'm not sure that being physically present means I had him in my life," he commented, though he didn't want to stray too deeply into personal territory. He was shy.
Lysmelia obviously wan't, though. Talian didn't mind listening. He nodded sympathetically and tried his best to listen, but his brain zeroed in on her breathing and posture. "Lysmelia, correct?" he asked uncertainly, extending one hand and taking a cautious step forward. "Are you all right? is your heart racing?" He asked with concern.
He nodded towards the gather square. "Let's sit down," he suggested. His own heart was throbbing as well. He didn't like to think about home, but in truth, that's all he really thought about since being taken. He started to walk slowly in the direction, waiting patiently for her to join him. "...And well, yes," he said, following up on her previous question. He'd forgotten to answer. "That IS true. I started schooling when I was seven turns old," he explained. "It was my father's idea."
