Ryvian winced and groaned when the smack to his head was received but he didn’t retaliate. For one thing, he probably deserved it for thinking it was their friend and that Indivara wanted the child. For another, Indivara was pregnant! No way could he tackle her or play rough with her now! He briefly wondered if he could even play gently in a more intimate way with her knocked up but it really wasn’t the time to think about his chances of scoring with the petite woman that looked ready to be sick again. That was a thought that made him want to scoot back a bit out of range but Ryvian tried to show his support without limitations and stayed where he was.
Tryst certainly didn’t stay where he was though. Once all the emotions were spiked and people and firelizards alike were getting smacked, he gave a creel of surprise and started chiding Blood for being so mean to Psh. He normally didn’t take sides in their squabbling but he sensed this was a delicate moment that had their humans confused enough as it was; they didn’t need a fight breaking out as well! Ryvian cast the trio a quick glance but he didn’t comment on them nor did he rein in Tryst.
“I suppose that’s true,” he finally managed to reply, knowing Kerrin would definitely be hurting if he was the man that got Indivara pregnant. It was going to be a challenge to figure out who it was with her flight moth tendencies but surely it couldn’t have been a long list in whatever length of time they were looking at. What was that timeline anyway? Did she know? “Do you have any idea who the…” it felt weird calling the man a father and Ryvian was close to saying ‘sperm-donor’ instead but found another word in the end, “idiot is?” That seemed far more appropriate, especially if it really was a dragonrider and he had his own method of assisting Indivara.
