While there is, obviously, more to D'vin than sex, that is what he has built his adult life around, and goes out of his way to embrace little else. He has very few close friends, and while it often leaves him feeling lonely and melancholy in his own company, he would never dream of allowing anyone to know that.

As an outsider looking at him, D'vin is a cheerful, playful man who enjoys the sins of the flesh and isn't shy about it. He will bed anyone that is willing to share the time with him, man or woman, of any adult age. He doesn't care how much older or younger they are than him, though he isn't a fan of individuals under twenty-five, mostly because they seem to still be children in his eyes, and far too many of them are still virgins and he's been there, done that, and no thanks. The only exception to this rule are the older children born in Katila, since like him, they had to grow up hard and fast. Plus most of them are a hoot.
