Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Nipan is not the most sociable of individuals, though one shouldn’t immediately assume a lack of friendliness either. Reclusive at heart, yet he knows better than to spend all his time alone tending to his beasts. And though he tries his best, it’s clear he’s not quite comfortable around humans. Often, he feels it’s easier to communicate with the hounds than another person. A hound does not deceive, and displays how it feels openly. Nipan finds that admirable, as those are traits he struggles with. Intimacy and vulnerability are strange, unsettling beasts that he does not know how to interact with. He’d rather avoid than research them. In general, Nipan enjoys researching. Having had a secret, self-indulgent passion for dragonology since childhood, Nipan admires the dragon technicians of old. He hopes to someday relearn their secrets, and make discoveries of his own.

Important History:
- Childhood: Nipan was given as a fosterling to his biological mother’s close friend, Myra. Esenla, aforementioned biological mother, was not in Nipan’s life for long. He remains willfully ignorant to the fact it was due to a massive argument between them that wasn’t even about Nipan. Nipan was raised on tales of dragons and their riders, Myra having lived through their extinction. His childhood friend was Myra’s hound, Follows-faithful.- Tapping: Nipan was Tapped for a Beastcraft apprentice due to his curiosity and practical understanding of animal welfare, especially in regards to hounds. It was difficult to keep him focused on anything other than hounds (and his flights of dragon fancy), so Nipan was soon specialized.
- Apprenticeship: Nipan’s apprenticeship was not easy for him socially. Though he excelled in his work, his aloof-yet-awkward demeanor didn’t make him popular amongst his peers. A boy named Azar bullied him to unusually cruel degrees, though Nipan had two friends by the names of Jensi and Gidden. After Nipan’s retaliation against Azar, both Jensi and Gidden had an unspoken awareness of the incident’s truth. Jensi became all the more fiercely loyal, while Gidden began to grow distant.
- Return of the Dragons: The incident with Azar was entirely overshadowed in their Crafthall by the return of the dragons, and thus promptly forgotten. Nipan was in a state of wonder and awe, and was so eager for any new news of the dragons that he would willingly socialize in hopes of learning even a scrap of what more was going on.
- Graduation: Nipan moved up to the rank of Journeyman, and continued living in Keroon.
- Searched: When a dragonrider appeared at Keroon on Search, Nipan couldn’t help but emerge to get a close up (as possible) look at a dragon. Despite his boyish desires, he didn’t even allow himself to entertain the possibility of being chosen. Nipan knew if he allowed the feeling, he’d be heartbroken when not chosen. Yet to Nipan’s almost euphoric delight, he was. Now, Nipan waits with little patience for his time to step onto the Sands. He channels his impatient energy into learning a new skill: Dragonhealing.
