Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! General Description:
Even though he is not considered conventionally attractive, anyone who meets Corin would have to admit that his looks are memorable, to say in the least. This is due to the fact that he was born with albinism; his skin, hair, and eyes are all pale and devoid of much colour. This has the effect of making him extremely self-conscious, as he likes to remain as inconspicuous as possible.Corin has a masculine face, with a low brow, thin lips, and high cheekbones. His nose is wide and slightly hooked. He tends to keep his hair short (although messy), and his body is on the average side. It lacks muscular definition. Corin is extremely self-conscious about this fact, or anything to do with his body.
General Dressing Style:
It would be fair to say that Corin does not have much interest in clothes. He wears what is functional and comfortable over what is fashionable and memorable. Most of his clothing is well worn, sometimes stained (being a drudge is messy!), and sometimes threadbare. There is no jewellery or formal wear in Corin's attire. Not that he's opposed to those things. It's just that he doesn't spend much on his looks. It's sufficient to say, then, that he is a young man of simple tastes, and his clothing reflects this sentiment.

Likes:
Cooking and Baking - It doesn't matter if the recipe is simple, or calls for a hundred ingredients: whatever it is that needs to be made, Corin enjoys making it! He has a lot of experience in the kitchen, and luckily, he truly enjoys his time being there. He makes food for any and every occasion, and it isn't uncommon to receive some baking of his as a gift. Corin is very passionate about food -- it's the one thing that he is confident in.
Animals - Not that he has any pets of his own (there's no time for that!), but Corin really, really likes the energy and company of animals. Unlike people, they're not complicated. He doesn't feel judged or rushed by them. He just gets them, is all.
Music - Though he is far from being a Harper, Corin really has an appreciation for song. He loves to listen to music, and never passes up on the opportunity to hear some. He even has a lovely singing voice, although he'd be caught dead before anyone else would hear it.

Strengths:
Loyal - Maybe it's because he doesn't have many of them, but Corin would literally die for the people he befriends. He stands up for them, checks in on them, and is a good friend in general to have. He is thoughtful and considerate of others, even those whom he is not acquainted with. And once you've made friends with Corin, he doesn't give up on you, preferring to work out problems instead of letting you go.
Dislikes:
Loudness - Wether it's an object that goes 'bang!', or a particularly rambunctious talker, Corin has an aversion to loud noise, and will try his best to avoid it.
Inebriation - It's not that he looks down on those who would become intoxicated, but he will be the first to admit that it makes him uncomfortable to see (or be around) others who are behaving in that way. For him, a couple glasses of wine are fine, but he never aims to get drunk, and he tends to avoid others when they are drinking 'too much'. He just can't handle it: socialising is hard enough without throwing alcohol into the mix.

Flaws:
Socially Awkward - Corin is a big introvert, and in being so, it is pretty safe to say that socialisation doesn't come naturally to him. At all. He is very shy, and incredibly awkward. He never seems to know what to say (though he tries his best at upholding conversations) or do in a social group. The more people in the group, the more Corin is perplexed about what to do. Ever the wallflower, Corin prefers to fade into the background and be left alone, rather than join in on a discussion. Some people that are close to Corin have tried to get him to come out of his shell, a little, but so far, it hasn't done much good. How he makes friends in the first place is a mystery to him.
Habits & Mannerisms:
It just so happens that Corin is nearsighted, so he squints. A lot. He also brings things up to his face, where he can see them. His posture is also bad -- he slumps his shoulders, and never sits up straight! - even when he's trying to make a conscious effort not to.General Personality:
There are few people in this world who are sweet and gentle, and Corin is definitely one of them. Though it might be hard to discover this about him, since his shyness is acute to the point of him having a hard time making friends. Still, he tries his best to be thoughtful and respectful of every person that he meets. He was raised to have good manners, and he would probably lose sleep if someone were to find him as rude. He loses enough sleep over his social interactions as it is.Corin can be a bit naive, as he's grown up quite sheltered and has never left the Hold he was born in. It is easy to shock him or embarrass him, as he doesn't have much experience with anything outside of a kitchen. It would probably do him some good to travel the world (as there is always some work for an experienced drudge practically anywhere), but he feels loyalty to his adopted mother and is reluctant to leave her side, a fact which she exploits.

Known:
It's common knowledge that Corin is adopted. His adopted mother, Peya, is the Head Cook of her hold, and keeps Corin in the kitchen with her, to work alongside of her. Nothing is known of his parents or birth family, as Corin was found abandoned by Peya in the kitchen itself.
Important History:
01.03.725 & 0: Corin is discovered as a newborn baby in a basket next to the hearth in his adopted mother's (Peya's) kitchen. When nobody comes to claim the child, Peya decides that the infant's arrival is an act of fate and takes the boy in, herself.725-730 & 0-5: Peya literally raises her newfound son in the kitchen.
731 & 6: Corin is encouraged to perform simple acts of drudgery within the kitchen, and takes a more active role in helping Peya around the Hold. The child discovers that he enjoys cooking at a young age.
737 & 12: Corin desires to become an Apprentice in the bakercraft. However, when he brings this up with Peya, she guilts him into staying at the Hold with her. This would become a frequent interaction between them throughout the boy's youth.
741 & 16: The albino finally stops talking about going to the Bakercraft Hall, feeling that it is too late to become an Apprentice. This does not stop him, however, from cooking and baking in the kitchen at the Hold.

Details:
Corin grew up with a holder's education. He did an average job on his studies, and did not really excel at any one subject. His true learning place was in Peya's kitchen, where his culinary skills began to shine.
