Cazelarias only partially plays up the part of being a dandy; the rest of it is completely him. He loves delicate and beautiful clothing, cleanliness, and looking fancy. That said, he still values comfort a great deal, so while all his clothing is tailored to suit his latest desires, it is always very important to him that he can wear those clothing all day and not feel at odds with it.

Loving colours, Cazelarias’ outfits are bright, eye catching, and elegant. He never looks like a rainbow puked on him, but he never dresses in dull colours, or bland designs unless absolutely required – events such as funerals and weddings have him toning down his attire, so as not to call undue attention upon himself (and, in his father’s scowling words, bring gossip raining down upon the family).

722, age 5: Cazelarias finds it amusing that his sister and he are able to confuse both friends and family, by his sister dressing up as him. They get into a lot of mischief, and while it gets Cazelarias into some trouble, he actually doesn’t mind, because he also learns how to manipulate the situations (and his sister) into being ‘him’ when punishment is being dealt.

723, age 6: Finds Cazan’s broken leg incredibly boring. She can’t pretend to be him – and he’s certainly not about to break his leg to cure that boredom. Instead, Cazelarias finds he has to do all his own chores, take all his own punishments, and gets no fun time by watching Cazan pretend to be him. Its incredibly dull and he dislikes it intentely.

726, age 9: Cazan finally makes it to the top of the tree that has been her personal nemesis for the past several years. Cazelarias has no desire to follow his sister to the top branches, and instead waits at the bottom of the tree so he can run for help if she falls out and breaks her neck. His anxiety doesn't settle until she has made it safely back to the ground, where he's quite firm about her not climbing it any more. She beat it, she doesn't need to climb it again. Right?

729, age 12: Cazelarias is enrolled into the leatherworking craft. Which he quickly learns he has no true talent for, or desire to work. But he's stuck there, as his family are all delighted by the prospect of a leatherworker among them. Cazelarias hates the way it smells, hates the way it feels, and hates how often he cuts his hands trying to do the work set out by the master. He is able to get by, floating somewhere in the middle of the class as far as work quality goes.

731, age 14: Cazan first begins to dress as her brother, and go to his leatherworking lessons for him. Cazelarias is incredibly anxious about their being caught out to start with, but Cazan is a fast learner, and does have a talent for leatherworking. She shines in the class, and Cazelarias finds he has the time to hide away in the family library and read books, a favourite past time of his. He has to be careful not to be seen by anyone, but the library is rarely visited and easy to hide within.

732, age 15: Cazan begins setting Cazelarias up for dates with the girls that flirt with her while she's dressed as him. He begins to form the persona of "Cazan's Cazelarias" or "CC", and vastly improves at his improve skills, picking up cues from the people he's with as to who they are, and what they know and expect of him. He has no desire to do more than take these girls on dates, and while very few of them get so much as a kiss out of him, rumours begin to fly about his increasingly incredible talents in bed. Cazelarias is mortified by such things, but plays along as required.

737, age 20: Cazan makes journeyman for Cazelarias, who feels awkward taking the credit for something he has had nothing to do with for years. He's still shocked that no one has figured out their antics, or busted him for being in the library studying politics and maps when he should be in a lesson his sister is at. He doesn't look the gift horse in the mouth, though, and does his best to play along and glide through the whole ordeal. He honestly can't remember the last time he went to a lesson personally.

740, age 23: A particularly petty disagreement with his sister involves Cazelarias stalking off to the library to sulk in a favourite corner, while Cazan - unbeknownst to him - takes off to Faranth knows where. Its three days after Cazan is gone before they hear a rumour of where she has headed - to the Weyr, of all places - and Cazelarias is charged with finding her, and bringing her home. He's thankful for the excuse to not have to pick up his craft personally, since he has no idea what a journeyman does in leatherworking and knows he sure as shit wouldn't be able to do any of the work. Instead, he finds his favourite horse and begins the arduous task of hunting down Cazan.

741, age 24: There is nothing enjoyable about hunting down his missing sister. The travel is boring and the nights are scarily lonely. Cazelarias doesn't handle it well, and his anxiety often gets the better of him; there are monsters in the dark that could get him! Every time he thinks he might have caught up with Cazan, he hears a new rumour about the leatherworker - he quickly realised she was traveling as him, and that made it easier when he said he was looking for his twin - and would have to change directions. Holds, Halls, an empty Igen Weyr and he set off for Telgar, which was the next closest. It took forever and a day to get there, but eventually Cazelarias made it. Only to discover his sister was not there. Exhausted, he opted to stay for a few days and figure out where to go next.

741, age 24: Cazelarias is trying to get comfortable at Telgar Weyr when he hears of the Hatching happening in Fort, and a nice greenrider offers to take him there so he can watch. Cazelarias is charmed by the idea, and agrees shyly to the offer. The dragonride is exhilarating, and between is terrifying. He's not overly thrilled at the prospect of doing it again to get back to Telgar, but ops to worry about it later. Instead, when he is on the ground and making his way through the crowds, Cazelarias finds he's confronted by a couple of people that "know him", and realises with a start that he's made it to the Weyr his sister is at. How under Faranth's golden wings she got there, he has no idea, but at least he's finally caught up with her! Finding her proves that much easier - and more difficult - when he spots her, dressed as him, Impressing a gold dragon. Because of course she did.

Cazelarias is adopted by N'reh, who helps keep his anxiety in check and educate him on the strange ways of the Weyrs. Cazelarias still tries to spend as much time as possible in the library, reading new books he didn't know existed, while his sister does Weyrling things, and then her dragon flies and she's pregnant and getting married and has a mate and Cazelarias simply can't deal with all the stress her life brings crashing down on him. He spends a lot more time sulking and hiding.
