Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! General Description:
Fediletch's height and broad shoulders combined with his small squinted gaze make him appear more fearsome and imposing than he means to be. His hands are rough and covered in small scars, a combination of slips with the butcher's knife and split knuckles from a hard punch. He has a scar over his lip and one over his eyebrow from a few brawls he's been in on his siblings behalf as well. He's athletic and muscular in build from a life filled with manual labor. He's been told this lends a bit to him being almost ruggedly handsome and has started to grow out a bit of a sparse, scruffy beard.While Fediletch maintains good posture and stands tall he does his best to not loom, and avoids holding himself in aggressive stances unless he is specifically trying to be intimidating. His movements are generally purposeful and coordinated if not quite flowing or graceful. His expression tends towards somber unless he's actively engaged in conversation and manages a smile that lights up his face.
General Dressing Style:
Fediletch tries to keep himself (and his surroundings for that matter) neat and clean. He doesn't own any fancy clothing, instead focusing on practical and durable garments. He does his best to maintain his clothes as best he can with skills taught to him by his mother. He isn't afraid of getting dirty during the course of work or play, but he is quick to change and clean back up once he's done.

Not the Sharpest Tool in the Shed: Fetch is not bright, he's not the best at non physical puzzles and creative thinking and has trouble when given an abstract task without direction.

Fediletch is a confident young man who knows he can be imposing to others, and has the talents to back himself up in a fight on the few occasions he gets into them. He'd much rather take verbal abuse and move on with his life, but when he does need to react (usually when someone is insulting a friend rather than himself) he finds that merely standing up and calmly staring someone down works very well to get people to back off. At the same time he's not insecure about his lack of intelligence. He learned a long time ago that things go by much more smoothly if he just admits when he doesn't know or understand something and gets help.He tries to be as helpful as possible, hoping that through his actions and helpfulness he'll win the friends that he can't just charm with wit like other people can. As the oldest of a pack of children, he's quite capable of giving orders and direction in an assertive manner, though it usually works best when someone else gives him guidance on what orders to give when it's a situation he's not familiar with. He's more talented with physical puzzles than he is with word puzzles and riddles (he can remember the answers if it's a riddle he's heard before). The possibility of getting a dragon is the main motivator he has for trying to improve his mental skills with lessons.

Another dark haired little brother is born. Fediletch has taken to getting into fights on behalf of his younger siblings when they're being picked on.

His father has a drunken fight with his mother. When Fediletch tries to intervene to help his mother he gets locked in a small closet by his father as punishment. He develops claustrophobia as a result.

Hears rumors the dragonriders and their dragons are still alive, goes to tell his father he wants to be a dragonrider when he grows up but this results in a fight.

Meets a friend of his mother's, a nice tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes that she says she met through her work. They talk briefly, but Fediletch doesn't quite follow along with the subtleties in the conversation. The topic of leaving home to go somewhere with his mother's friend comes up but Fediletch already promised to help his father with some things so he declines. The man and his mother both seem disappointed for some reason, but even after he leaves his mother won't answer any of Fediletch's questions and tells him not to speak of her friend to anyone, especially his father.

Fediletch starts to broaden and bulk up, making him appear to be almost a giant in comparison to his father. Parents begin fighting more whenever he's around and his father sends him to help a butcher to learn a useful skill and to avoid looking at his son more than necessary.

Gets close to the butcher's daughter, Fiona. She's pretty and out of his league, but despite his shortcomings she enjoys how easy it is for her to tell him what to do and boss him around. She has him do some errands and small favors for her on the side and makes sure he knows not to mention any of it to her father. His relationship with his own father grows increasingly distant and strained, and in his absence his siblings have started talking to him less as well.

The butcher confronts Fediletch about one of the favors he's been doing for Fiona. He doesn't say anything to give her up, but shortly after the butcher and Fiona have some sort of argument. A month later she is sent away to be married in a far off hold. With no real reason to keep him anymore, Fediletch heads to Telgar to try and get himself a dragon or at least be near them. Since his arrival he's been doing his best to try and be the best candidate he can be by attending as many classes as possible and helping with odd jobs and manual labor.
742.02.02 & 18:
While trying to get two candidates to stop fighting during Malvayth's Touching, he gets caught up in their fight and shoved onto an egg, crushing and killing it. He's banned from standing in Fort and left depressed and despondent.
742 middle of the year & 19:
With a murderer killing dragonriders, Weyrleader S'far calls for volunteers to test their food for poison. Fediletch volunteers, eager to help prove himself useful by being willing to sacrifice himself to save a dragon. He manages to get through the ordeal unscathed, and makes a tidy amount of marks in the process.
743 & 20:
Through the support of friends and having time to process he's started to Stand at hatchings again (though he still avoids Fort even though Malvayth and her rider have since transferred to Telgar). He's still nervous around eggs, but otherwise has regained most of his confidence.

Education
Details:
Fediletch didn't have any real opportunity for education outside of learning on the job. He's shockingly good with knives. He knows how to clean and butcher various animals, can even identify some of the cuts, but he never learned to read (outside of numbers and identifying currency) and only has basic math skills. Since coming to the Weyr he's been attending classes when he can and working to practice his reading. Surprisingly he can write rather well and has good penmanship, though he does so by drawing words rather than understanding what the symbols actually mean. He's always had an easier time with numbers though since they've always appeared to be different colors for him.
