General Description:
Alcynnia has large brown eyes, framed by thick, heavy lashes with delicately arched eyebrows atop them. Despite all that she has been through in her life, they still retain a brightness to them - when they aren't clouded by remembered horrors - and often sparkle with amusement at the antics of those around her. Alcynnia's hair is thick, soft, and falls in heavy waves to her shoulders, rarely longer. It is a dark walnut brown, with some soft blonde and reddish hued highlights from the summer sun. She wears no bangs, instead just brushing her hair to the side when it bothers her, or wrapping a leather thong around it to pull the whole lot away from her face.Alcynnia has an oval face, enhanced with full lips, a pert nose, and her wide brown eyes. Her ears are small, and often hidden behind the wavy length of her hair. Of build, Alcynnia is made of narrow lines and small curves, enhanced by her lack of proper eating that has her narrowly walking the realms of anorexia; she has narrow hips, very little arse, and small bust. Alcynnia has long limbs and lithe and light airs about her movements, that often make it look like she's floating.
General Dressing Style:
Alcynnia has two dress modes: Normal days, during which she wears beautiful gowns that befit her new role as a guide for the Weyrladies, and bad days, when the very idea of breathing causes her pain and she can't bear the thought of leaving her bed.The gowns that Alcynnia prefers are of deep shades, and sewn with decorative work along the hem of the skirts. Her sleeves are either short, no more than an inch past her shoulder, or long and fitted. she has no time for the bell sleeves that some women wear. Hidden by the hem of her gown, Alcynnia wears proper ladies boots, preferring a sturdy stile to the more feminine slippers, especially when she's accompanying a goldrider on the sands.
On her bad days, which strike at random and with viciousness, Alcynnia can mostly be found wearing her bed clothes; a loose nightdress that falls to her ankles, with long sleeves and delicate off-white stitching, the white pseudo-dress has been seen more than once around the Weyr as the grieving woman wanders around in a lost stupor.

It is during this time that the dragons begin to fall sick and die, many vanishing forever but some unable to make the final trip between. Alcynnia is distraught when Silvayth becomes one of those who is ill, the beautiful gold dragon she'd called her own for fifteen years.
