The irritation was rolling off the greenrider in waves as he glared at J'ver's back, the other greenrider obviously too busy scrunching his nose up at B'jin's home to notice the home owners disgruntled attitude. That faded slightly at the startle and irritation his stance caused J'ver when the little snake finally turned to face him. B'jin's own attitude changing subtly, a sly smirk flickering over his lips as he glared down at J'ver with smug satisfaction. While deeply worried by what it was J'ver obviously had in mind, the blonde rider wasn't the slightest bit intimidated by the man himself.
He let J'ver's stickybeaking go uncommented on, though his cheek twitched where B'jin's jaw was clamped shut in irritation. B'jin hummed a non-committal sound as J'ver spoke, eyebrows drawing down as his eyes narrowed suspiciously. J'ver was a slippery little bastard, and being unsure of exactly how much he knew, B'jin was reluctant to say or do anything. Obviously, he knew or at least suspected enough to cause hassle and undoubtedly knew B'jin well enough to know he couldn't lie to save himself. If D'ren heard even a whisper of what he had done... A shiver crawled down B'jin's spine but he made no visible acknowledgement of the action or his own inner thoughts. Instead, he pursed his lips angrily as J'ver slunk across his living room and claimed the couch, acting for all the world like he owned the place. B'jin stiffened in outrage for a moment, glaring at J'ver when he spoke. After a moment, however, the greenriders entire attitude relaxed visibly when J'ver finished speaking.
"Do mind the wet spot." B'jin purred sweetly, his expression a perfect image of childish innocence. One of the children had spilt redfruit juice on the couch when he was bringing them dinner earlier that evening (he had his suspicions about which, but he actively encouraged their team work to get out of trouble, much to their mothers' irritation) and it had yet to dry. B'jin sorely hoped his luck was at least good enough to have the slimy little slut sit in it.
"To what end?" B'jin asked, almost conversationally, when J'ver had resettled, highly amused.
[sup]I assumed that whether or not J'ver actually sat in the spill, he's going to look to see where it is. I was going to leave off the last sentence, but I wanted to push the thread along.[/sup]
