Gangleri let out a small sigh of relief when he saw Mylorah and Geric returning together and both of them seemingly fine. He wasn't sure if happy was the right word, but they seemed to be getting along well enough for the moment and there were even some smiles. He turned his attention back to his wife, reaching over to gently squeeze her hand out of gratitude for putting up with his momentary fretting. And for making dinner. And for thinking to invite Mylorah. And all of the myriad of other things that she did and he appreciated her for, but she must have seen the look in his eye since she gave his hand a gentle pat and gave him a look that reminded him they still had company.
So he refocused on dinner and his guest, enjoyed in the conversations and noted that Geric's drink seemed to be helping quite a lot with keeping him more calm and relaxed. He didn't particularly enjoy dosing his brother with that particular cocktail, especially since he had to make sure neither of the ladies drank it on accident. So while they talked at the table, he subtly encouraged Geric to drink up until his glass was empty and could be refilled with something a bit safer.
Gangleri helped to organize what dishes he could to make them at least easier for Quilriana to take away, before sitting back down and listening to Mylorah and Geric as his wife went to go prepare the pie. Though as soon as Geric answered her question he couldn't help but laugh, though he tried to keep it a bit more subdued and not so obvious.
"Oh don't give me that look, Gerry," he said with a grin as his brother finally caught on. "You know if you got out more often or traveled with Ullie you'd have so much more practice with that sort of banter." Watching his brother's face and how he held himself, he could easily tell that he was embarrassed, but more importantly, Gangleri could see that he wasn't in a panic over it either. This was just a rather ordinary display of emotion and there was no sign of his earlier panic coming back to the surface. He turned to Mylorah to give her a reassuring smile and wink just in case she had any concerns about it too.
He idly took a bite of his pie once Quilriana sat down to rejoin them. He turned to his wife, head tilted curiously as he asked, "Are you up for the play? You've already seen this one before so don't feel like you have to humor me to do it. I'll be staying for the post party of course, and I suspect Mylorah might be so inclined as well." A quick glance at Geric had the young man shaking his head as he tried to decline the party.
