"How many times did I ask if you were thirsty? Hm? But noo, you were fine. You were tough and didn't want to miss any of the action. Now look at you. Drink." Rhamnus grumbled as he passed water to the candidate he was watching over at his station for the moment. Another candidate came over, a bright eyed and nervous boy who barely looked old enough to stand, and meekly asked for water.
Rhamnus gave him a smile and nod and poured him some as well. "Here you go, make sure you drink as much as you need, don't want to overheat." He turned to give his current patient a withering glare that at least earned him a muffled apology for not listening earlier. With that at least handled, the healer gave himself another drink. At least the patient would be back on his feet soon enough and back out, probably to impress a dragon just as stubborn and hard headed.
The eggs started to hatch again and Rham straightened, keeping a wary eye out in case something went wrong yet again. So far it seemed fine though, just a couple of greens and... he frowned, brow furrowed as a green started to head his way. Was she coming for his patient? Or... oh. Of course. He let out a long sigh, arms crossed and foot tapping impatiently in the sand as he watched her drink and then make a sloppy wet fool of herself. Though it probably helped her cool down, so not at all foolish really. "Go on then, finish up and find your candidate and make sure they're hydrated too," he muttered under his breath.
Once she was done he retrieved the bucket and gave it to a drudge to get refilled. If that was the most dramatic thing to happen the rest of the hatching, he'd honestly be a pleased man.
