What was up with these assholes today? Corvilis was pretty sure the clutch at Telgar hadn't been this obnoxious. Sure scamming at cards wasn't the most exciting thing, he'd give the egg that, but he was proud of the work he'd managed to put into Sky and Fern. He certainly didn't know of anyone else who'd taught their firelizards how to break into things on purpose. He bristled at the dismissal and glared around. One more egg, just one more. Hopefully it would be a bit friendlier, something that suited him a bit more, but after that he'd take a walk and maybe have a drink somewhere.
Corv took a longer walk as he stewed a bit, thinking over the other two eggs he'd already touched. Sure he might still impress one of them, but if he did they'd just have to have a very stern talk. Besides, what did they know? They were just babies. They hadn't even hatched yet! He should probably expect a bit of foolishness. Maybe he was going about this wrong. Instead of just thinking soothing thoughts or whatever, maybe he should be thinking of curious thoughts. Ones where he hoped to meet a new dragon and tried to think about how they could help each other. Either way, one more egg probably wouldn't hurt before he took off to relax. He stopped at an egg just recently vacated, and reached out his hand.
