"Really?" she asked and was surprised that they were all colored correctly, "Maybe I should've paid more attention when they offered me an egg." She laughed at her own silliness. She should've just taken the egg when they'd offered her one but she'd been too afraid that she would murder the poor thing on accident that she'd said no. Which was stupid, she'd raised a son through infancy why would she have killed a firelizard hatchling.
"Think you could help me find someone with eggs?" she asked as Chuck hopped to her shoulder. "Hello fellow," she said with a scratch to the underside of his chin. He was certainly a solid little guy.
"I suppose having a blank face would be much weirder than having one," she nodded in agreement, "I usually give them faces to but I didn't want to creep you out." She admitted the last with a smile towards the young man. He was sweet and endearing in his earnestness that August quite enjoyed his company. She glanced around for rocks and twigs to stick in the head and on it's sides. "You start finding some faces and arms and I'll get the next bottom started," she said and gathered some snow together, "Maybe make a lady this time instead of a man."
