Cazan gave T'ryn a soft bat of her hand against his chest at the joke. She'd felt a small flare of actual anger at it, but the kiss and apology had quickly soothed that over so she could realize just how ridiculous it all was. "I hope I never actually throw something at you. I don't even want to punch you. We'll just figure it out as we go... I hope. With you here it will probably be a lot better, and now that Kor'is and I are on friendlier terms he can probably help when I'm being unreasonable while you're away." At least she hoped she and the bluerider were on good enough terms for that.
She let out a groan as he brought up Helyna again. "I know... but I said it. Right to her face! She even slapped me for it, which I deserved. I'm pretty sure we're better now but I won't be happy until I finish this corset I'm working on for her... so I'll let you know when that's done to deliver." It was so nice to see the demonstration of how well he knew her when he offered to deliver the gift before she'd mentioned it. It showed how much he cared that he paid attention to those little parts of her life and could anticipate those things.
I told you he would be a good daddy and you didn't have to worry. He won, of course he would care about your eggs. Cazan wanted to roll her eyes but instead she smiled, giving T'ryn another kiss. "Should I start calling you my big bronze daddy? Or would that be too confusing?" She felt Malvayth give a small huff. "Mal almost likes it. She thinks Syrendryth isn't fun enough though."
